Description
Students who struggle with academics from pre-kindergarten through adulthood will benefit from this module. A 3-step process has been created to help you identify signs of dyslexia as well as a list of strategies that can be tried in reading, writing, and math. In the process, you will learn how to use different learning styles to recognize unfamiliar words, practice through tactile and kinesthetic learning, and use everyday devices that can bring life to real-world situations. Some of the strategies will work while others will not; however, this will help you create a baseline that can be used for intervention assistance teams and/or physicians to possibly get students the extra help they need. The bottom line is that everyone must all work together toward the same common goals to make reading and writing easier.
