“Teachers are a very influential part of children’s lives and I consider myself extremely blessed when it comes to the teachers I’ve encountered over the years. Mrs. Guyer was my 3rd grade teacher….whoa that feels like eons ago lol. I honestly can’t say that I remember a whole lot about 3rd grade but I know that had it been negative I definitely would have recalled. She sees my mother year after year and always asks about me and that speaks volumes about her character to me. I mean how many teachers still care about a child they taught 25+ years ago. The first time I was in contact with her about a year ago she told me how she always saw greatness in me and knew I would be successful in life. It was the perfect time for me to hear that and made me feel so good to know she had that feeling all those years ago. So, Mrs. Guyer thank you for pouring into me back then as your student and reinforcing those beliefs in this adult!”
“Behavioral plans work! I am here to tell you that I know personally when you set a plan into place and stick with it the outcomes are of great magnitude. Debbie’s behavior plans are astonishing. I have a 7 year old that tries my patience daily. She is a strong willed, very independent individual. When she has her heart set on something, there is no stopping her. She was struggling in school, having emotional breakdowns, and picked up some of the not so pleasant characteristics of her fellow classmates. I had no idea on how to control her unwanted behaviors, nor did I know how to approach her school work at home to help her improve her grades. That is when I turned to Debbie’s plan of action.
Many countless nights I’ve stayed up calling Debbie with my problems concerning my daughter. Many tears have been shed, and Debbie reassures me every time to be consistent and don’t give up. We have set into action different plans at separate times, all coming from proven successes that Debbie has used first hand. I will not lie, they didn’t always go good at first, tears and breakdowns occurred, frustration set in, giving up crossed my mind and even rose to the occasion a couple of times. When I fail, what do I do? I get on the phone and plead for help. The number one thing I myself fail at is consistency! Once I learned that, not only as a parent but as an individual, things got better. A day would pass, a week, then soon a month, and I realized my daughter was getting better grades, her name on papers was not scribbled, her coloring was starting to stay in the lines, and most of all “SHE” wanted to learn and looks forward to doing her homework! Reading levels continue to improve, emotional outbreaks are a thing of the past, and advancement in mathematics is taking place. I can not believe my child is transforming right before my eyes! So, I am here to tell you, when you have tried all that you can do and don’t know where to turn, turn to Visual Learning Resources. They do have the answers and are proven with success. Visual Learning Resources has changed my life in ways I never seen coming, and I am forever grateful!”
